Acupuncture for low back & sacrum pain
Low back & sacrum pain is a commonly treated condition
As we tend to sit for longer periods of time due the current lifestyle in the modern world, our back can experience large amounts of pressure. Do you know that there is more pressure on our bodies when we sit than stand?
Low back pain can limit your daily activities like personal care, lifting items, walking, sitting and even sleeping. It interferes with your quality of life and can affect job performance, concentration, and loss of motivation.
The good news is that most patients get relief from low back and sacrum pain within 6 treatments.
Low back pain doesn’t always stem from the low back. For example, there are nerves in the upper low back called iliohypogastric and ilioinguinal nerves. If those nerves get pinched, pain will flare up on the side of the low back. Additionally, if the superior cluneal nerve gets pinched, you can experience pain in the upper buttock area.
Once we identify issues in the structure like lumbar spine subluxation or disc herniation to name a few, we can treat the condition with acupuncture point injection, etc.
We strive to give patients the best and most efficient care so that they can “live life with less pain”.
